Getting Started with MentalUP
MentalUP is developed by child development experts, academicians, and professional game designers to be more than just a game! It supports brain and body development through educational games, live events, competitions, tests, and fun fitness workouts.

Millions of children worldwide use MentalUP to improve their cognitive skills, such as attention, memory, and problem-solving. In MentalUP, all contents are designed like fun games. They're engaging and always fun!
Account Help
  • To change your password, open the MentalUP app and then go to the Settings > Change Password menu.
  • To change your username (email address), open the MentalUP app and then go to the Settings > Contact Information menu.
Note: If you haven’t connected an email address to your account yet, you will use MentalUP as a guest user. To create an account, open the app and then go to the Settings > Create an Account menu. You can create an account and easily set a password from this menu.
If you forget your password, you can request to reset your password.
  • Go to the password reset page from the login screen.
  • Enter your email address and click the “Recover Password” button to send a password reset link to your email box.
  • Check the email address connected to your account for a password reset email.
  • From the email, click “Reset Password” and enter your new password.
  • Click Change Password to confirm your new password.
  • Now, you’re ready to log in to your MentalUP account from all devices using your new password.
It’s mostly because you’re logged in with your old or another account. Also, it is possible that you might have created a new account and logged in mistakenly.

First, please make sure you’ve logged in with the correct account, following the Settings > Contact Info menu. If you’re seeing that you’re using the wrong account, go to Settings and click Log Out.

Once you successfully logged out, click the “Already member? Sign in” button to log in to your own account.

It’s mainly because you’re logged in with your old or another account. Also, you might have created a new account and logged in mistakenly.

First, please ensure you’ve logged in with your subscribed account following the Settings > Contact Info menu.

If you see that you’re using the wrong account, go to “Settings” and click “Log Out”. Once you successfully log out, click the “Already a member? Log In” button to log in to your account.

We can help you find your login details, but as you guess, we need your help, too.

There are some tips to help you find your login details. Your account name, your email addresses (if you bought a subscription), which platform, and your receipt are some of them.

Of course, it’s good to know other details if you have. Do you have it? Then send us an email via support@mentalup.co.
  1. If you’re a guest user and haven’t connected an e-mail address to your account yet, you don’t have to do anything. It’s okay to delete the app from your devices.
  2. If you have created your account with a verified e-mail account, please contact us via support@mentalup.co
Note: If you have started a free trial or buy a subscription, you need to unsubscribe before deleting your account.

If you created an account with your email address and password, you could sign in to your account from any device.

If you haven’t connected an email address to your account yet, you will use MentalUP as a guest user. To create an account, open the app and go to the Settings > Create an Account menu.
You can edit your profile information, such as name, year of birth, class, or skill selection, from the "My Profile" menu. To access it, click on your avatar icon at the top left on the home screen.
We recommend that you disable exercises that require reading and math skills, at least until you have improved your skills enough.

To do this, go to the "My Profile" menu by clicking on your avatar icon at the top left of the home screen. Then click on "Birth Year", from this menu you can change your Math and Reading preferences.
If you don’t like to receive emails from us, you can change your opt-in by following one of these steps:
  1. Login to your account and go to the Settings > Contact Info menu. Then, unclick the “I want to be notified by email or notification about performance reports, campaigns, blog posts, and other topics” box and click the Save button.
  2. When you receive an email from MentalUP, click the “unsubscribe from this list” link from the bottom and approve your opt-in change to the following page.
There is no resetting option in the app to prevent data loss. However, if you think it’s crucial for your MentalUP usage or some mistake happened, we can reset your progress data just once. To do that, please share your request with your account email address and profile name to support@mentalup.co
It’s because you’re logged in with your old or another account. Also, you might have created a new account and logged in mistakenly.

First, please ensure you’ve logged in with your premium account following the Settings > Contact Info menu. If you see that you’re using the wrong account, go to Settings and click Log Out.

Once you successfully log out, click the “Already a member? Log In” button to log in to your premium account.

MentalUP cannot charge you without your permission and consent. However, it may be helpful to review the following situations:

  • If you start a free trial, the SUPER membership cost will be charged to you at the end of the 7th day.
  • If you already have an active subscription but didn’t unsubscribe, it will be renewed automatically at the renewal date.
You will see this explanation under all of our trial starting pages, as shown below:

“Your subscription will be automatically renewed at the end of the subscription period. You can cancel the auto-renewal at any time from your App Store settings. You must cancel auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the trial period ends.”

  • Open the app to purchase on mobile devices.
  • Click the “Start a Free Trial” button on the home screen.
  • When you purchase a subscription through the App Store or Google Play Store, you will be charged with the payment method you used to purchase.

When you purchase a subscription, you will have a Family Plan. Thanks to it, you can create up to 3 users per account without limitations. Also, you can log in and play simultaneously from different devices.

Here are the steps you need to take to get a refund:

  • Users who subscribed through the Google Play Store can request a refund here. Select "Subscription" as the purchase type and ensure you're signed in to the account associated with your purchase.
  • Users who subscribed through the App Store can request a refund here. Tap or click "I'd like to", then choose "Request a refund." Choose the reason why you want a refund, then choose Next. Choose the app, subscription, or other item, then choose Submit. If you've been charged for a subscription that you no longer want.
  • For users who subscribed through our web app, please email us at support@mentalup.co using the email address you signed up with.

  • To use your promotion code, go to this page
  • Click the “I have a coupon” field and enter your promotion code. Then click the Apply coupon button.
  • Now, you’re ready to buy a discounted MentalUP Premium package.
Note: You must cancel your account through the same platform you used to begin your subscription.

For iOS and iPadOS - App Store:
  • Open the Settings app.
  • Tap your name.
  • Tap Subscriptions.
  • Tap the subscription that you want to manage.
  • Tap Cancel Subscription.
*If you don't see Cancel Subscription, the subscription is already canceled and will not be renewed. When you cancel a subscription, you can still use your subscription for the time you've already paid for.
Android - Google Play Store:
  • Open the Google Play Store.
  • Tap Menu > Subscriptions.
  • Select the subscription you want to cancel.
  • Tap Cancel subscription.
  • Follow the instructions.
*When you cancel a subscription, you’ll still be able to use your subscription for the time you’ve already paid.

  • Log in to your account via MentalUP
  • Go to the Settings > Membership info > Cancel
If you receive an error message when trying to subscribe, please check that:

  1. If your payment is declined or you receive a message that there is an issue with the details for your payment option, make sure that your payment option has the correct account or credit card number, CVV number, name, and expiration date.
  2. Please make sure your card is active and you have enough balance to make the purchase. Don’t forget that some cards have to need to activate before using online shopping.
  3. If you cannot manage to buy a subscription even following the above statements please contact your bank.

If you didn’t receive your activation code these are might be possible reasons:

  1. Your payment may not have been processed or completed successfully. Check your bank statements.
  2. You might not have entered an e-mail address or entered it incorrectly in the form you need to fill in after the purchase. In this case, please contact us via support@mentalup.co.
This error occurs when you try using an activation code again. If you’re sure that you haven’t activated any account with your activation code before, please send your request and activation code to support@mentalup.co.

Open the MentalUP and then go the Settings > Membership Info

If you see the subscription renewal date and status from this page, it means that your purchase was successful and you’re a premium member now. Otherwise, you’re a “limited” user.

You can use MentalUP for free as much as you want, but many powerful and helpful features are only available to SUPER (premium) users. You must upgrade your account to the SUPER version to access features.
